The position requires a proactive, hands-on approach and flexibility with start and finish times, including occasional additional hours to meet business needs.Key Responsibilities:Carry our daily review of GMP in the factory (operational areas) and externally, and to help regulate company policies and procedures regarding food safety and compliance.Conduct Internal Audits of the operational areas for foreign objects and maintain the Glass and Hard Plastics Register for all production, storage, and maintenance facilities as required.Assist with organoleptic assessments – carry out organoleptic product assessments and check retention samples on their best before date evaluate the quality and freshness.Review, amend and maintain packing specifications for the production areas.Inspect returned stock with quality issues, and report on findings.Help investigate customer feedback reports and internal corrective actions.Assist QA team with site audits and corrective actions.Assist QA Manager with additional testing or new process improvement projects, and product assessment trials.Assist with Quality Control duties when required, and with any QA related activities, in the absence of other team members.About You:You will be a QA Technician, with a sound knowledge of quality assurance procedures, a good eye for detail and advanced problem-solving skills.
