About the role

We’re looking for a Work Health, Safety & Training Coordinator to join our Morningside team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our people and operations across WHS, training, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with our National WHS Manager and site leadership to:

  • Coordinate WHS inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Support incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage employee and contractor training and competency records
  • Monitor training compliance and liaise with training providers
  • Coordinate toolbox talks and safety training
  • Maintain WHS systems, reporting and documentation
  • Support emergency preparedness and safety initiatives
  • Promote a positive and practical safety culture

About you

  • Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety or equivalent
  • 2–5 years’ experience in WHS, training or compliance
  • Knowledge of Australian WHS legislation
  • Strong communication, organisational and analytical skills
  • Confidence working with people at all levels
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and WHS systems
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122), First Aid, incident investigation experience, or experience in food manufacturing, seafood, logistics or warehousing will be highly regarded.
